Meet Miz Helen from Miz Helen's Country Cottage. Miz Helen hails from Texas and in addition to blogging about food, she also blogs about gardening and her spiritual life. She hosts a weekly linkup called Full Plate Thursday.
It took me a while to decide which recipe I wanted to make. Miz Helen has recipes for everything from Cranberry Chicken Salad on Endive to a Warm Cauliflower Salad with Caper Viniagrette (which I'm going to have to try!) and includes lots of Tex-Mex recipes, like Southwest Adobe Pie.
What I finally decided on was... well, who doesn't like a chocolate chip cookie?
These cookies are made with olive oil instead of butter and they're sprinkled with sea salt before going into the oven.
Perfect with a cold glass of chocolate milk! Thanks, Miz Helen for the recipe. I enjoyed visiting at your Country Cottage!
You can find Miz Helen's recipe here and be sure to take a look at the other SRC recipes this week!
